Mozart’s "Great" G-minor Symphony, which Wagner called “exuberant with rapture” and in which Schumann found “Grecian lightness and grace,” is elegantly rendered here by the Mostly Mozart Festival Orchestra under Spanish conductor Pablo Heras-Casado. The peerless virtuoso Joshua Bell joins the orchestra to perform Bruch’s beloved Violin Concerto No.1.
